12th Annual Bill Dennison Shoot

Sporting Clays shooters from Lisbon, Parishville, Norfolk, Plattsburgh, Cornwall and Massena Gun Clubs converged on the sporting clay field at Massena Rod and Gun Club for the 12th annual Bill Dennison Memorial shoot.  The shoot consisted of 100 clay birds, (25 known five stand, 25 unknown five stand, and 50 bird sporting clay field).  Top gun honors went to Steve Burdett with a 87 (23-21-43).  Shoot offs were needed to determine second and third, and fourth and fifth places.  Bill Winchester 84 (25-21-38) defeated Jesse Pokrzywinki 84 (22-21-41) in a 5 bird shoot off 5-3 to capture second place.  Ed Rider 83 (22--19-42). defeated Dean Slaney 83 (21-22-40) in a five bird shoot off 5-4 to capture fourth place.  Joe Fadden finished sixth with a 78 (21-16-41).  (Pictured are Joe Fadden, Bill Winchester, Steve Burdett, Jesse Pokrzywinki, Dean Slaney and Ed Rider)
